Senior Solutions Architect
Job Summary
To support high-performance database solutions, the full-time Senior Solutions Architect will research and develop techniques to GPU-accelerate data analytics applications while collaborating with technical experts and influencing next-generation hardware architectures in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Research and develop methods to enhance performance of high-performance databases and data analytics applications using GPU acceleration
- Collaborate with industry and academic experts to analyze and optimize complex data-intensive workloads
- Influence the design of future hardware architectures and programming models in partnership with various teams at NVIDIA
Required qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related computationally focused science degree
- 8+ years of relevant experience in software development and optimization
- Proficiency in C/C++ with a strong understanding of algorithms and software design
- Hands-on experience with low-level parallel programming techniques, such as CUDA, OpenACC, or MPI
- In-depth knowledge of CPU/GPU architecture fundamentals, particularly memory subsystems
