Senior Solutions Architect Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of Scale and Enterprise Solutions Architects, the full-time Senior Solutions Architect Manager will build, coach, and scale a high-performing pre-sales technical team remotely, ensuring effective engagement with prospects and customers to evaluate applications for Temporal's platform and drive adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop a team of Solutions Architects while fostering a culture of technical excellence and customer obsession
• Partner with Sales leadership to execute comprehensive account strategies and conduct thorough technical discovery to identify suitable use cases
• Guide the team in effectively positioning Temporal's platform against competing technologies while maintaining a hands-on understanding of product developments

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Sales Engineering, or a related technical role, with at least 2 years in a leadership position
• Strong technical background in distributed systems, microservices, or event-driven architectures, with proficiency in supported programming languages
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) and familiarity with modern development and deployment tooling
• Proven track record in open-source or developer-tools companies, understanding the dynamics of selling to developer communities
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences, from executives to engineering teams
