Senior Solutions Engineer
Job Summary
Independently leading technical engagements for customers, the full-time Senior Solutions Engineer will design solutions, deliver platform demonstrations, and develop technical strategies to enhance platform usage, working collaboratively in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery and solution design for customer workloads in data engineering, analytics, and machine learning
- Build and deliver compelling proofs-of-concept and live demos on the Databricks Platform
- Develop account-level technical strategies in partnership with Account Executives to grow platform consumption
Required qualifications
- 4+ years in data engineering, solutions architecture, technical pre-sales, or a hands-on consulting role
- Proficient in Python and SQL with the ability to debug, optimize, and write production-quality code
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing data solutions on at least one public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Working knowledge of distributed data systems such as Apache Spark or Delta Lake
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline (or equivalent experience)
