Senior Solutions Engineer
Job Summary
Partnering with Account Executives to drive new business and expand existing accounts, the full-time Senior Solutions Engineer will design and deploy Proofs of Concept (POCs) while acting as the technical lead during the sales cycle, all within a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with Account Executives to close new business and enhance existing client relationships
- Design, develop, and implement Proofs of Concept (POCs) for prospective customers
- Lead the technical evaluation stage of the sales process, providing expertise in query tuning and load testing
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years experience in a technical pre-sales role
- Broad experience with large-scale database and/or data warehousing technologies
- Proficiency in ANSI SQL and programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java
- Familiarity with data engineering tools like Apache Spark, Apache Flink, and Apache Airflow
- Understanding of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP
