Key Responsibilities

• Assign codes for diagnoses, treatments, and procedures according to ICD-10-CM/PCS guidelines
• Abstract required information from source documentation into electronic medical record systems
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate and complete physician documentation

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required
• Completion of an accredited Baccalaureate in Health Informatics or Health Information Management preferred
• 1 - 3 years of experience preferred
• No licenses, registrations, or certifications required
