Senior Specialty Underwriter

Job Summary

Focusing on underwriting new business and renewals, the full-time Senior Specialty Underwriter will manage Automotive Specialty quotations globally, collaborating closely with Sales and underwriting leadership in a fully remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate Automotive Specialty quotations with a primary focus on U.S. business
• Collaborate with the Senior Lead and Head of Pricing & Underwriting on core business initiatives
• Underwrite and renew accounts to support profitable growth in the portfolio

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or business preferred
• At least 4 years of experience in case underwriting, pricing, or actuarial roles
• Experience in Automotive Underwriting is a plus
• Strong strategic mindset with the ability to align work to business objectives
• Solid financial acumen and understanding of profitability drivers
