Senior Splunk Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Splunk Engineer to design, implement, and optimize Splunk capabilities for cybersecurity monitoring and operations, with responsibilities including platform engineering, data onboarding, and security analytics, available for remote work.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize Splunk environments, ensuring platform health and performance
• Onboard and integrate various data sources, mapping them to the Splunk Common Information Model
• Develop and maintain SPL searches, dashboards, and alerts to support security operations and incident response

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DOE L clearance
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or related fields
• 3+ years of hands-on experience administering Splunk in enterprise environments
• Strong knowledge of Splunk components including indexes, forwarders, and permissions
• Demonstrated experience with data onboarding, alert development, and troubleshooting Splunk issues
