Senior Splunk SIEM Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance security operations, the full-time Senior Splunk SIEM Engineer will design, implement, and optimize privileged access monitoring solutions remotely, focusing on improving alerting capabilities and reducing false positives.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement privilege access event monitoring logic to identify security-relevant activity
• Develop intelligent alert routing and correlation logic to differentiate security threats from routine events
• Create and optimize Splunk correlation searches, custom alert rules, and SOAR workflows for incident handling

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years in security operations or related cybersecurity functions
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Splunk in production environments
• Advanced proficiency in developing Splunk correlation searches and custom alert rules
• Experience with SOAR platforms and designing complex playbooks and workflows
• Understanding of privilege access monitoring and IAM-related security practices
