Senior SQL and Power BI Developer

Job Summary

To support a government agency, the remote Senior SQL and Power BI Developer will design and optimize SQL database solutions, develop Power BI dashboards, and maintain ETL processes using Azure Data Factory.

Key responsibilities

• Develop Power BI dashboards with advanced DAX and Power Query, ensuring user-friendly visualizations
• Design and optimize SQL database solutions using PL/SQL and T/SQL, focusing on performance and data quality
• Maintain ETL processes and perform data integration and transformation to support data warehouse architecture

Required qualifications

• Strong experience with Power BI, including advanced DAX and Power Query skills
• Expertise in SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools, particularly Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Shell for automation and data processing
• Solid understanding of enterprise data warehouse architecture and data governance best practices
