Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior SQL Database Administrator to join their Database Administration team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, installation, and upgrade of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) while ensuring optimal performance and availability
• Collaborate with application developers and analysts to create database schemas and resolve complex client problems
• Lead backup and disaster recovery implementations while ensuring compliance with security and change management policies

Required Qualifications

• Five to seven years of experience in the design, administration, and support of Microsoft SQL Server database systems
• Strong knowledge of server-side development, SQL Always On Technology, and Windows Server Clusters
• Proven ability to troubleshoot production database issues and manage client expectations in complex environments
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Must meet specific federal clearance standards including residency and citizenship requirements
