Senior SQL DBA

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Senior SQL DBA, the full-time remote position will manage and optimize SQL Server databases, ensuring high availability and performance while troubleshooting issues and implementing robust solutions for multiple customer environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, and support SQL Server databases to ensure availability and performance
• Troubleshoot database issues and implement high-availability solutions, including AlwaysOn and clustering
• Design and implement SQL Server database systems while ensuring compliance with security and disaster recovery best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA with a focus on high-availability solutions
• Experience with Ansible automation is required
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft SQL Server (2019 and newer), including clustering and replication
• Strong skills in T-SQL scripting, query optimization, and performance tuning
