Senior SQL Developer
Job Summary
To support the UAM Data Operations Team, the full-time Senior SQL Developer will design, develop, and maintain data tier codebases using Transact-SQL and other programming languages, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and maintain SQL code for application development, including schema architecture and stored procedures
- Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure data integrity and consistency
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to translate complex workflows into functional SQL code
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in ANSI SQL/Transact SQL programming
- Hands-on experience with RDBMS platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostGres SQL, or MySQL
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages including Transact SQL, Google SQL, and Python
- Strong understanding of data lake and warehousing concepts, as well as data governance frameworks
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related fields
