Senior SQL Server DBA

Job Summary

To support a growing federal agency contract, the full-time Senior SQL Server Database Administrator will manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SQL Server instances, ensuring high availability and performance in both on-premises and Azure environments.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain SQL Server and MySQL instances, including backup, recovery, and performance tuning
• Configure and troubleshoot SQL Server Failover Clusters and Always On availability groups for high availability
• Develop and maintain SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages for ETL operations and support reporting services

Required qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) or equivalent SQL Server certification
• Minimum 5 years of SQL Server database administration experience; 12-plus years preferred
• Demonstrated experience with SQL Server 2016, 2019, and 2022 in both standalone and clustered configurations
