Senior SRE Technical Leader
Job Summary
To support a Cloud and Technology company, the remote Senior SRE Technical Leader will design, operate, and scale a Kubernetes-based platform for highly regulated environments, focusing on reliability engineering, automation, and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate large-scale Kubernetes platforms ensuring high availability and security
- Lead reliability engineering initiatives by defining SLOs, SLIs, and improving platform performance through automation
- Partner with engineering and compliance teams to implement FedRAMP High and IL5 controls while maintaining audit-ready platforms
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering
- Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes platforms in production environments
- Strong knowledge of compliance standards such as FedRAMP High and DoD IL5
- Expertise in cloud infrastructure, Linux administration, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar programming languages, and experience with observability solutions
