Senior Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to join their finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform monthly close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Manage sales and property tax compliance across multiple states and locations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tax implications are proactively managed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus
• 4+ years of relevant accounting experience, particularly in sales and/or property tax
• Experience in retail, property management, or multi-location environments preferred
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and multi-jurisdictional tax requirements
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, etc.)
