Senior Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP and statutory accounting principles
• Oversee general ledger reconciliations and manage monthly and quarterly closing processes
• Support regulatory filings and assist in audits and tax compliance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; public accounting experience preferred
• Proficient in modern accounting software; experience in Sage Intacct is highly desired
• Strong understanding of statutory insurance regulations and GAAP principles
• Tax experience and CPA Certification are desirable but not required
