Senior Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to support accurate financial reporting and enhance internal processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Own portions of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for timely and accurate reporting
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls in compliance with GAAP and audit requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA (or progress toward certification) preferred
• 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a high-growth or technology environment
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar)
