Senior Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to enhance its accounting operations and financial reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Analyze complex datasets to identify financial trends and support audit processes
• Implement improvements to workflows and strengthen adherence to internal controls

Required Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a SaaS or high-growth environment
• Strong foundation in GAAP and experience with ASC 606 principles
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus
• CPA or progress toward certification is desirable
