Senior Staff Accountant

Job Summary

Supporting the monthly close and advancing accounting automation initiatives, the fully remote Senior Staff Accountant will manage reconciliations, journal entries, and audit compliance while leveraging AI-driven tools to enhance financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Serve as a key resource in the implementation and optimization of AI-driven accounting processes and workflow automation
• Own and manage balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of reconciling items

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including roles as a Staff Accountant or Senior Accountant
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and month-end close processes
• Experience preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working within ERP systems
