Senior Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company in the Accounting industry is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant.

Position Responsibilities:

• Maintain and reconcile cash and credit card accounts, monitor cash and investment accounts, and prepare various journal entries
• Assist with federal grants and restricted funds, annual financial audit, and sales tax returns
• Investigate and resolve audit findings and account discrepancies, support junior staff accountants as required or assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 10 years of related experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and Microsoft Office required
• Experience with general ledger and sub-ledger systems required
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and communicate clearly in both written and oral formats required
