Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Staff AI Engineer to develop scalable AI systems for chemical and materials science applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant AI systems leveraging modern AI models
• Develop RAG architectures and optimize system performance for large-scale data handling
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML models with backend systems and ensure system reliability

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field with 7+ years of industry experience, or a Master's/PhD with 5+ years
• Advanced knowledge of modern AI frameworks and experience with vector databases
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture
• Proficiency in REST API development and familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies
• Proven track record of deploying production-grade AI systems and experience leading technical teams
