Senior Staff AI Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the architectural design and implementation of next-generation AI agent frameworks, the remote Senior Staff AI Engineer will architect agentic systems, balance rapid prototyping with sustainable solutions, and orchestrate workflows using large language models.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and deploy production-grade multi-agent frameworks and custom AI developer tooling
• Implement rigorous frameworks for evaluating agent reliability, latency, and accuracy
• Set engineering standards for code quality and system performance while mentoring other engineers

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience in fast-paced environments
• 2+ years of hands-on experience building autonomous workflows and agentic systems
• Deep familiarity with diverse large language models and orchestration frameworks
• Prior early-stage startup experience with a focus on execution in ambiguous situations
• Proficiency in writing clean, high-performance code in languages such as Python or Go
