Senior Staff AI Platform Engineer

Job Summary

As a hands-on builder of SentinelOne's enterprise AI platform, the full-time Senior Staff AI Platform Engineer will design, develop, and operate key components of the AI Gateway and Harness layers, ensuring robust security and scalability while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate components of the AI Gateway, focusing on identity management, authorization, and audit logging
• Develop and maintain the Harness layer for agent orchestration and model abstraction across various providers
• Write production code in Python, contribute to internal platform capabilities, and ensure observability across services

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, particularly in AI and ML infrastructure
• Strong Python skills, ideally with FastAPI, and familiarity with React and TypeScript
• Experience with agent orchestration frameworks and hosted model providers like AWS Bedrock or Google Vertex
• Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals and API design
• Curiosity about enterprise AI deployments and governance challenges in production environments
