Senior Staff Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Staff Data Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive system design discussions and software development within engineering teams
• Promote software design best practices and author code for new features and defect fixes
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define solution requirements and mentor engineers

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related discipline
• Experience with programming languages such as Python or Go
• Deep knowledge of Google BigQuery and Google Cloud Platform
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) best practices
• Experience with relational databases and declarative query languages such as SQL
