Senior Staff Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Staff Data Engineer to play a senior technical leadership role on its Data Platform team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain core data pipelines and infrastructure for analytics, machine learning, and AI use cases
• Own data architecture decisions focusing on scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
• Establish data quality standards and mentor other data engineers

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering or related fields
• Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred)
• Hands-on experience with production data pipelines at scale
• Experience with modern data platforms and data modeling
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
