Senior Staff Data Engineer

Job Summary

To elevate the systems that power trusted decision-making, the full-time Senior Staff Data Engineer will define platform standards, lead complex cross-domain initiatives, and shape the future of analytics and data infrastructure in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and improve orchestration, monitoring, and data reliability systems
• Define modeling, semantic layer, and governance standards across teams
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to modernize and future-proof the data platform

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Backend Software Engineering
• Expert SQL skills with strong proficiency in Python or similar languages
• Deep experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar data warehouses
• Hands-on experience with dbt and orchestration tools like Airflow or Dagster
• Experience implementing secure data access patterns in regulated environments
