Senior Staff Data Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
To ensure the reliability and operational maturity of the Databricks platform, the full-time Senior Staff Data Reliability Engineer will manage operational excellence, define CI/CD standards, and design platform policies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Own operational excellence for the Databricks platform, including monitoring, alerting, and incident response
- Define and maintain CI/CD and promotion standards for Databricks assets
- Design and maintain platform standards for job orchestration and production execution reliability
Required qualifications
- 12+ years of relevant experience in data platform engineering or site reliability engineering
- Hands-on experience with Databricks or a closely related cloud data platform in production environments
- Experience designing or operating CI/CD and deployment automation for data platforms
- Strong understanding of observability, monitoring, and incident management concepts
- Ability to work effectively in a regulated or security-sensitive environment
