Job Summary

Leading the scientific strategy behind Reddit's ads measurement and signal systems, the remote Senior Staff Data Scientist will define the technical vision and drive innovation in privacy-aware measurement systems, experimental design, and causal inference methodologies.

Key responsibilities

• Define the long-term data science vision and strategy for ads measurement, signal quality, and privacy-aware systems
• Create rigorous frameworks for validating lift, attribution, and identity quality while guiding product and engineering investments
• Lead the evolution of experimentation methodologies and partner with cross-functional teams to translate measurement improvements into performance gains

Required qualifications

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field or equivalent industry experience
• 10+ years of experience in data science or a related quantitative role
• Deep expertise in ads measurement, experimentation, and causal inference
• Strong command of statistical modeling, experimental design, and measurement methodology
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python or R
