Senior Staff Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Staff Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design of SQLE Services architecture and implement solutions for challenging problems
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure integration and define best practices
• Mentor engineers and implement proof-of-concepts for new engineering efforts

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline with 12+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 8+ years, or a PhD with 5+ years
• Proven experience designing service architectures on public or private cloud environments
• Demonstrated expertise in Python and RESTful services development
• Knowledge of security best practices for RESTful services and Linux system administration
• Familiarity with DevOps automation tools and Teradata Vantage is a plus
