Job Summary

Seeking a visionary Senior Staff Engineer (Backend) to lead architectural innovation and strategic technical direction in a full-time remote capacity, focusing on defining architectural vision, establishing quality governance, and enabling collaboration across engineering and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the architectural vision for customer-facing systems in alignment with business strategy
• Establish patterns and frameworks to ensure quality, resilience, and operational excellence across the organization
• Mentor senior technical leaders and drive org-wide adoption of scalable practices and tools

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong record of group-level technical leadership
• Experience with technologies such as Kotlin, Java, or Go, and deep understanding of system design for scale
• Proficiency with CI/CD workflows, cloud infrastructure, and observability tools
• Demonstrated ability to drive architectural clarity and strategic technical alignment across functions
• Experience translating customer and clinical needs into reliable and high-impact technical solutions
