Senior Staff Engineer
Job Summary
To support supply chain optimization initiatives, the full-time Senior Staff Engineer will develop advanced optimization models and algorithms, translating complex business challenges into scalable technical solutions while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop optimization models using exact solvers and heuristic/meta-heuristic algorithms to address client needs
- Translate business challenges into mathematical formulations and embed models into scalable applications
- Support pre-sales activities and stay current with advancements in operations research and simulation
Required qualifications:
- 9+ years of experience in supply chain platforms and optimization techniques
- Proficiency in Python programming and experience with machine learning libraries
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience with optimization solvers such as Gurobi or CPLEX and simulation platforms
- Strong background in solving real-world supply chain problems like network optimization and inventory planning
