Senior Staff Engineer
Job Summary
To support supply chain optimization initiatives, the full-time Senior Staff Engineer will develop advanced optimization models and algorithms, translating business requirements into technical designs while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop optimization models using exact solvers and heuristic/meta-heuristic algorithms
- Translate business challenges into mathematical formulations and embed models into scalable applications
- Support pre-sales activities and stay current with advancements in optimization and simulation
Required qualifications:
- 7.5+ years of experience in supply chain platforms such as Llamasoft, O9, Anaplan, or Kinaxis
- Proficiency in advanced Python programming and machine learning libraries like scikit-learn and TensorFlow
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience with optimization solvers (Gurobi, CPLEX) and simulation platforms (AnyLogic, FlexSim)
- Strong background in solving real-world supply chain problems, including network optimization and inventory planning
