Job Summary
To support cutting-edge projects, the full-time Senior Staff Engineer, GNC will develop advanced algorithms for high-performance flight, working remotely within an agile team focused on vehicle dynamics and control systems.
Key responsibilities
- Research and develop state-of-the-art algorithms for guidance, navigation, and control systems
- Collaborate with an agile engineering team to push the boundaries of flight performance
- Tune and optimize control systems in both simulation and real-world environments
Required qualifications
- BS in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Software Engineering with a focus on Control Systems
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience or equivalent work experience in vehicle dynamics modeling and flight controls
- Proficiency in C++, Matlab, and Simulink
- Expert knowledge of aircraft dynamics, control, stability, and handling qualities
- Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance
