Senior Staff Engineer, Product Software

Job Summary

Joining a platform team focused on expanding compute offerings, the full-time Senior Staff Engineer, Product Software will architect and maintain high-performance networking systems while collaborating closely with product teams and mentoring junior engineers in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and maintain a new platform for high-performance networking and compute
• Collaborate with Product Management and stakeholders to ensure product-market fit and direction
• Foster a build-it and run-it culture, enhancing customer outcomes through efficient operations and development

Required qualifications

• Solid understanding of Network Function Virtualization (NFV) and networking protocols
• Proficient experience with Golang (Go) and Python, including API development
• Strong background in building and operating highly reliable distributed systems
• Experience with CI/CD implementation for code deployment
• Proficiency in Linux concepts and containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker
