Senior Staff Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance engineering capacity across various departments, the full-time Senior Staff Forward Deployed Engineer, AI will embed with stakeholders to scope, design, and deliver custom full-stack applications rapidly, utilizing modern AI tools and frameworks in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Embed with functional departments to run discovery sessions that identify workflows and pain points before development
• Scope, design, and build full-stack custom applications, transitioning from prototype to production swiftly
• Own the entire delivery process, including architecture, testing, deployment, and user training for adoption

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with a proven ability to design and ship full-stack applications independently
• Proficiency in at least one modern backend language (e.g., Python, Node.js) and sufficient frontend skills to create usable internal tools
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and LLM-based tools to enhance development processes
• A track record of collaborating with non-technical stakeholders to manage expectations and deliver tangible results
• Prior experience in a forward-deployed, solutions engineering, or professional services role is preferred
