Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the technical strategy for advancing ads ranking and bidding models, the full-time Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer will design and launch production models, build evaluation pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance ad quality and relevance, while working remotely with occasional in-office collaboration.

Key responsibilities:

• Define and advance technical strategies for ads ranking and bidding models using large-scale machine learning
• Design, build, and launch production models that improve ad quality and relevance based on continuous learning from feedback signals
• Mentor and guide other machine learning engineers and scientists in advanced modeling techniques and best practices

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in applied machine learning, particularly in large-scale ranking or ads systems
• Deep expertise in modern recommendation and ranking techniques, including gradient boosted trees and deep learning
• Experience in building and operating machine learning systems at scale using Python or C++
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as computer science or statistics, or equivalent experience
