Job Summary

Leading the technical strategy for the end-to-end Ads ML engineer lifecycle, the remote Senior Staff Machine Learning Systems Engineer will enhance feature development, streamline training data processes, and improve offline experimentation workflows while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technical strategy for the Ads ML engineer lifecycle, focusing on feature development and training data workflows
• Define architecture and technical standards for ML feature and training-data systems, ensuring quality and observability
• Mentor staff and senior engineers while driving platform initiatives and improving development velocity

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure, distributed systems, or ML platforms
• 4+ years of experience in building or operating production ML infrastructure or large-scale data pipelines
• Proven track record of leading multi-team platform initiatives from strategy through adoption
• Experience with distributed data and compute systems such as Spark, Kafka, or Kubernetes
• Strong ability to balance urgent customer needs with long-term architectural goals
