Senior Staff ML Engineer

Job Summary

Experienced in applied machine learning, the full-time Senior Staff ML Engineer will partner with product teams to extract insights from data, build AI-powered features, and mentor junior engineers in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Explore and analyze data using Python and related tools to create, tune, and productionize ML models for various product features
• Design and implement AI-driven workflows that convert unstructured data into structured formats and enhance user interactions
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across multiple teams, defining best practices for data ingestion and model evaluation

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data science or ML engineering with a strong record of delivering production data/ML features
• Proficiency in Python, pandas, and experience with PySpark or similar frameworks for data processing
• Solid understanding of ML fundamentals, including supervised learning and feature engineering
• Experience with PyTorch or similar deep learning frameworks and familiarity with SQL and modern data architectures
• Demonstrated ability to serve as a technical lead and mentor junior engineers, fostering collaboration across teams
