Senior Staff Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
Leading initiatives to transform the IT Compute Core Team, the full-time Senior Staff Site Reliability Engineer will design, scale, and deploy core infrastructure services while optimizing performance and reliability across on-prem and cloud environments.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement core infrastructure services, including DNS, NTP/PTP, DHCP, and LDAP, focusing on performance and reliability
- Define metrics to measure service efficiency and drive optimizations in software and hardware
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop IT products and services that meet customer needs
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 12+ years of proven experience in compute platform engineering with a focus on automation
- Experience in designing and deploying containerization architectures and distributed systems infrastructure
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Go and/or Python
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to define and track key performance metrics
