Key Responsibilities

• Shape the technical strategy for retrieval platforms and guide the team in implementing advancements
• Design and build large-scale, high-performance retrieval platforms serving over 1B documents
• Drive cross-team collaborations and mentor senior engineers to enhance their technical and leadership skills

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant industry experience, with 4+ years in retrieval infrastructure
• 2+ years of experience as a technical lead across teams and organizations
• Experience in building large-scale, high-performance distributed systems for consumer applications
• Expertise in a compiled programming language, preferably C++, Java, or Rust
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience
