Senior Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Staff Software Engineer to join the Observo.ai team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and technical roadmap for scalable data processing pipelines handling petabyte-scale telemetry data
• Drive the development of ML-driven data routing and transformation engines to optimize customer data volumes while preserving insights
• Architect and implement real-time analytics and anomaly detection systems using advanced machine learning techniques

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience focused on distributed systems, data engineering, or ML infrastructure in SaaS environments
• Expert-level proficiency in Go, Rust, or Java with a deep understanding of system design patterns and performance optimization
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
• Proven track record of leading and scaling data pipelines using technologies like Apache Kafka or Apache Spark
