Senior Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Staff Software Engineer, Trust.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the long-term vision and strategy for the Trust Platform, focusing on scalable fraud and safety decisioning
• Build system and performance tooling while identifying opportunities to enhance technical quality and operational excellence
• Lead and mentor engineers, raising the technical bar and developing future technical leaders within the trust engineering ecosystem

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in backend and platform engineering with mission-critical distributed systems
• BS, MS, or Ph.D. in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Proven experience in guiding multi-year technical roadmaps and aligning platform vision with execution
• Hands-on experience with modern programming languages (e.g., Kotlin, Java, Scala) and familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows
• Experience in the Trust and Risk domain is a plus
