Senior Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Staff Software Engineer, Backend (Data and Storage Services).

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and evolve the lakehouse analytics platform, focusing on Snowflake, Apache Iceberg, and Spark
• Design and implement secure data access policies and lead analytics engineering practices
• Drive data governance initiatives and optimize analytical compute and storage strategies

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering or data engineering
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar analytical data warehouses
• Strong experience with Apache Iceberg, Spark, and AWS cloud-native data architectures
• Experience with dbt or equivalent frameworks for data transformation
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with Kotlin or Go is a plus
