Senior Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Unified Data Store team, the remote-eligible Senior Staff Software Engineer will build and operate a high-performance data access gateway, manage data schematization solutions, and provide technical guidance on large-scale distributed systems.

Key responsibilities

• Build and operate a scalable data access gateway for online product data, abstracting implementation complexities for product developers
• Develop a generalized data schematization solution that meets compliance requirements and simplifies data management for engineers
• Provide expertise and guidance on the effective use of storage technologies and performance optimization to product teams

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant industry experience
• Hands-on experience in building and operating large-scale distributed systems
• Solid understanding of systems and infrastructure fundamentals
• Ability to own and navigate complex codebases
• Experience leveraging cutting-edge AI technologies for solution development
