Job Summary

To support innovative projects in Google Cloud AI, the full-time Senior Staff Software Engineer will provide technical leadership, manage project priorities, and design large-scale software solutions, with the flexibility to work remotely or in-office in Sunnyvale, CA.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects
• Influence and coach a distributed team of engineers
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 8 years of experience in software development
• 5 years of experience with design, architecture, and testing/launching software products
• 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams
• 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization
