Senior Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Driving AI innovation in a hybrid role, the Senior Staff Software Engineer will explore emerging technologies, rapidly prototype new ideas, and build scalable AI systems to enhance SpyCloud's capabilities while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and apply emerging technologies in AI, agents, and knowledge systems
• Rapidly prototype new products and workflows to validate technical feasibility and business value
• Architect and build scalable AI systems that integrate LLMs, graph technologies, and cloud-native services

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including at the Staff or Senior Staff level
• Proven track record of independently driving high-impact technical initiatives from concept through adoption
• Deep hands-on experience with applications powered by LLMs and modern AI tooling
• Experience designing and operating large-scale graph databases or knowledge graph systems
• Strong software engineering and systems design skills, particularly in distributed cloud-native applications
