Senior Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

To guide the technical evolution of the Provider organization, the full-time Senior Staff Software Engineer will serve as the Technical Individual Contributor Leader, responsible for setting the technical roadmap, establishing engineering standards, and driving high-impact initiatives in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set the technical roadmap and establish engineering standards across the Provider organization
• Drive high-impact initiatives that span all teams within the Provider domain
• Operate as a strategic partner to the Senior Director, providing architectural foresight and technical expertise

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience, including full-stack development of modern database-backed web applications and microservice development
• Extensive experience as a principal or lead architect in a major product domain or engineering group
• Deep knowledge of high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems and cloud infrastructure
• Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to influence engineering direction across stakeholders
• Experience mentoring others and establishing design patterns in software architecture
