Job Summary

Owning the end-to-end technical strategy for configuration and coordination infrastructure, the full-time Senior Staff Software Engineer will orchestrate the long-term vision, migrate legacy substrates to modern platforms, and architect high-performance APIs, all while collaborating remotely with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Orchestrate the long-term technical vision for configuration ecosystems, ensuring operational safety and standardized validation
• Spearhead the transition from legacy systems by establishing scalable onboarding patterns for engineering teams
• Architect control plane interfaces and diagnostic surfaces to enhance management of complex production states

Required qualifications

• Decade-plus experience in high-scale infrastructure and distributed environments
• Proven expertise in orchestrating cross-functional technical strategies for control-plane systems
• Advanced proficiency in distributed coordination and substrate design
• Experience aligning configuration surfaces with deployment pipelines and orchestration frameworks
• Strong ability to catalyze execution via AI-enabled workflows while ensuring accountability through data validation
