Senior Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Leading technical execution within Product Engineering teams, the full-time remote Senior Staff Software Engineer will design, develop, and deploy scalable API-driven services while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of services, APIs, and integrations focused on scalability and performance
• Ensure code quality and implement strategies for reliable production system changes
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in software development with hands-on experience in backend development using Java or Go
• Minimum of 2 years as a Staff Engineer supporting multiple teams across a major business domain
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go, and expertise in Spring Framework
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
