Senior Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer in a full-time remote role, this position focuses on architecting and building scalable backend services on a cloud-first platform, utilizing AWS infrastructure and a variety of programming languages.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and build scalable, production-grade backend services in AWS with minimal oversight
• Define and drive the technical direction of the cloud platform, including service architecture and operational standards
• Develop and maintain services using Node.js and other backend technologies, owning the full lifecycle from design to deployment

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 12+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly with cloud-based distributed systems
• Deep expertise in Node.js, React, and MUI in production environments
• Proven mastery of distributed systems and microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and writing AWS CDK scripts
